Dr. William A Gilliard, DMD Dr. William Gilliard is a native of Charleston, SC. He graduated from South Carolina State College with the Bachelors of Science degree in Biology/Chemistry (1992). In 1999 he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. After completing dental school, Dr. Gilliard was employed by Public Health, where he provided dentistry for the United States Navy. He was then hired by the Potowatomi Native American Tribe, there Dr. Gilliard established the first dental facility for the Potowatomi Tribe. Dr. Gilliard is a member of the American Dental Association and all local dental associations. Drs. William and Nona Gilliard now own and operate their own private practice in Moncks Corner, SC that was formerly owned by the late Dr. Addison B. Sales DMD. Along with the doctor, the staff provides a professional and welcoming atmosphere at Gentle Dental Care.
Dr. Nona Gilliard, DMD Dr. Nona Gilliard is a native of Irvington, NJ. She graduated from Douglas College/Rutgers University Honors program with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Dental School (1997). She also completed an externship in oral surgery (1997). Dr. Nona Gilliard completed an advanced general dentistry residency program at Newark Beth Israel Hospital Newark, NJ (1998).
